Military Weddings
If you, your fiance - or both of you, are members of the British Army, Royal Navy, RAF or Royal Marines then you can have a military wedding. This means you can wear a uniform and have a Guard of Honour, which is often called an arch of sabres or steel.
You'll want to think about wearing a uniform - each regiment has its own unique service dress, making your wedding totally individual. Some regiments are given No 1 dress as part of their usual kit - but for some, their wedding is the first time they get to wear this special uniform.
