Being a celebrant is a wonderful part of my life. This is because I get to speak to some amazing people and hear their stories.
Well, before you get in touch you may want to know a bit more about me - and what set me on the road to becoming a celebrant.
I've lived in Colchester for about 15 years and l am married to my lovely wife Becky. Our wedding ceremony was in Prague in 2017.
Pretty much all of my working life has been spent in customer service roles, and I've loved every minute. For years people told me that I was good at public speaking, especially when it came to toasts or talking about other people. I finally took the leap and decided to start my own business as a celebrant.
I wanted to be able to conduct ceremonies for funerals, weddings and naming ceremonies so I studied with The Regency Academy for my Celebrant Diploma, at the end of which l was thrilled to have achieved a distinction.

I also obtained a City & Guilds accredited programme certificate as a Civil Celebrant. But I don't just have the qualifications - a previous job working as a funeral arranger meant I gained experience in helping, guiding, and reassuring families that were going through a time of great loss and sadness.
You will find that I have a lot of empathy, but at the same time a great sense of humour. Anyway, enough about me.
